交通の安全と労働を考える市民会議
―「ライドシェア」問題を考える―
私たち市民会議は、「ライドシェア」が導入された場合に、交通の安全と労働にどのような影響を及ぼすかを調査・研究し、発信・提言していく会議として発足しました。
「ライドシェア」とは、仲介サイト事業者が運転者と利用者を仲介し、自家用自動車を使って有償で利用者を運ぶサービスのことをいいます。
このサービスの下では、利用者は運転者との間で運送契約を結び、事業者は運送責任を負いません。また、事業者と運転者は雇用関係にないため、事業者は運転者の労働条件に責任を負いません。
私たちは、交通の安全とそれを支える健全な労働環境を守るため、問題の提起と提言を行ってまいります。
Forum for Traffic Safety and Labour
- considering "ride sharing" issue -
Our forum was established to investigate and study how the traffic safety and labor will be affected when "ride sharing" is introduced.
"Ride sharing" refers to a service in which brokerage website operators mediate between drivers and users and carry users on a fee basis using private cars.
Under this service, the user concludes a shipping contract with the driver, and the business operator is not responsible for transportation.
Also, because the business operator and the driver are not in an employment relationship, the business operator is not responsible for the driver's working conditions either.
In order to protect the traffic safety and the healthy work environment supporting it, we will pose questions and make recommendations.
